Hi, I’m Tanya Zajdel, RN, mother, survivor and founder of Rewire Trauma Therapy.
I curated Rewire’s programs from both my professional background in nursing and trauma-informed care, and from my own lived understanding of what it means to move through assault, abuse, survival mode, fear, grief, and the long, nonlinear process of healing.
I know healing is rarely simple.
Sometimes it feels like you take one step forward and three steps back. Sometimes your mind understands that you are safe, but your body still feels afraid. Sometimes anxiety, shutdown, depression, sleep struggles, eating patterns, or chronic overwhelm become part of how your nervous system has learned to protect you.
These private one-on-one sessions are a space for you to be met gently, without pressure, judgment, or the need to explain everything perfectly.
Together, we’ll look at what your nervous system may be asking for right now, and how to support it with small, compassionate, body-based steps.
As a Registered Nurse, I bring an understanding of the biology of trauma, stress, and nervous system regulation. As the founder of Rewire, I also bring the tools and wisdom gathered from 45 trauma-informed practitioners across our 13-program bundle, including somatic therapy, vagal toning, trauma-informed yoga, qigong, martial arts, music therapy, art therapy, and other body-based healing practices.
In your session, I’ll help you explore which Rewire tools and modalities may best support where you are now — whether you’re using Rewire for your own healing, your clients, or both.
You may use the session to:
- feel gently held and supported in your healing process
• better understand your nervous system patterns
• explore why fear, anxiety, shutdown, or overwhelm may still be showing up in the body
• learn simple tools for grounding, regulation, sleep, emotional safety, and reconnection
• explore how to integrate somatic, vagal toning, yoga, music, art, martial arts, or other body-based tools into your life or clinical practice
My intention is to help you feel less alone, more supported, and more connected to the possibility that your body can begin to experience safety again — gently, slowly, and in a way that honors your pace.
This is not a replacement for therapy, medical care, or crisis support. It is a supportive trauma-sensitive coaching session designed to help you take your next step with more clarity, compassion, and nervous system awareness.
